Come join us at Sharp Brook Flower Farm - The Posy Shed for a fun and informative workshop on digging and dividing dahlias! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this hands-on event will teach you everything you need to know about caring for these beautiful flowers. Learn the best techniques for digging up dahlias, dividing tubers, and storing them for the winter.
Each participant will dig multiple dahlias clumps from our field, and divide 3-5 clumps to bring home! Anticipate leaving with 20 + tubers to plant in 2026. We will also tea and snacks to keep everyone warm during the workshop.
Please bring along:
Sturdy Garden Fork or shovel to dig tubers.
Gardening Gloves
A large bag or bucket to transport tubers
We also encourage participants to wear clothes and footwear they don't mind getting dirty :)
Location: On the farm - in the dahlia field (come up the driveway to the u-pick field on the left)
